Why change the original Jake from State Farm… instead of just making a new character?

The original ad was kind of a hit. These new ones? Just don’t have the same vibe.

That’s like why CarFox ended up representing CarFax. Just random.

Wonder if the original ad would still work these days.

They’ve made changes, but who knows?

Odd how it’s never the other way around.

Why not just stick with the original guy?

They thought no one would notice… but we did.

Times are changing, I guess.

So the new guy is just there to make a statement?

Trying to blend marketing with social change.

It’s advertising, what did you expect?

Feels like the whole thing was set up just to make a statement, doesn’t it?

But does it even work?

I mean, it’s just an ad swap, no need to overthink it.

All about being ‘trendy’ these days.

It’s like anyone could be a ‘Jake’ now. They’re trying to make him a mascot.

I think they’re just recycling the old formula, hoping it still works.

You’re probably right, but it’s not that serious.

Guess they didn’t expect it to be such a big hit, so they kept going.

Jake might as well be a whole new identity now.
