Which Pet Insurance should I go with

I have an 11-month-old cat that needs some vaccinations, but I truly have no idea how pet insurance operates. I’ve reviewed a few rules, but the most of them state things like “three vaccinations per year,” which worries me because she already requires three vaccinations. Are there any recommendations available for a reasonably priced pet insurance that genuinely provides for the medical needs of my pet? I apologize if this post seems foolish; the truth is, I have no idea what insurance is all about.

I spent many years working in the pet insurance industry, and I believe that when done right, it is a wonderful thing. Please make sure you understand what you are buying by reading the policy. Generally speaking, new illnesses and accidents are covered by pet insurance. As it is normally something you can plan for and anticipate they will need every year or every couple of years, getting wellness coverage like as vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter is usually an additional cost to the insurance itself.
If your main goal is wellbeing, some veterinary offices provide wellness plans. Apart from that, pet insurance provides you with the assurance that, in the event of a new accident or illness, you can obtain any test, no matter how expensive, in the event of chronic conditions like allergies, acl tears, UTIs, prescription medications, and X-rays. It’s crucial to remember that the majority of pet insurance companies do not cover preexisting conditions. “Any sign or symptom of an accident or illness, regardless of if it is officially diagnosed or not, prior to the end of the waiting periods will be deemed pre existing and not eligible for coverage,” is how this is often specified in detail in the policy. It can be quite complex and stressful because there are so many pet insurance companies available, but in order to set yourself and your pet up for success, it’s crucial to learn the fundamentals. I hope this is useful.

I apologize for bothering you, but if it’s okay if I DM you, I would like to ask someone with experience a little procedural question regarding pet insurance.
