My roof got damaged in a storm (wind and hail), but my insurance company denied my claim. What’s frustrating is that several neighbors with the same insurance company got approved, even those with the same adjuster as me. Now, I’m wondering if I can sue and what type of lawyer I need to handle this. Anyone dealt with something like this before?
Sounds like you need a lawyer who handles insurance disputes. Keep all your emails and letters from the insurer—it’ll help if you take legal action.

Yeah, totally agree. I had a similar issue last year. Organized everything and found a local insurance attorney—it made things way easier.

Did they charge upfront, or was it one of those ‘you pay only if you win’ deals?
Could be worth checking if they denied it because of pre-existing damage. Sometimes they use that as a loophole.

True, but even then, they should pay something if the storm made it worse, right?
Most insurance disputes are basically contract issues. Any lawyer familiar with contract law should be able to help.

Agreed, but I think it’s better to go with someone who specializes in insurance claims. They’ll know the process better.
I’d say start with a free consultation. Most insurance lawyers will at least look at your case without charging you.
Oh, I’ve been there… Insurance companies love to deny claims and hope you won’t fight back. Get a good lawyer and don’t let them win.
