Hi there, i am 23 years old, and I will be relocating from Colorado to Galveston, Texas, in a few months to live with my family. I was hoping to take my pittie mix, who is also about five years old and has food allergies that cause nail problems and recurrent skin and ear infections, and my medium-haired cat, whom I have raised from a kitten and who is now five years old, with me when I move. I will be operating on a tighter budget while I attempt to establish myself in a new state, and I have no idea where or how to look for pet insurance. I would appreciate any advice. No need to worry if someone thinks I can not afford my pittie given his demands on my spending plan, If I can not, support him, he can also live with other family members.

Starting with a few quotes based on your new address might be wise. Pet insurance is very personalized to you and your circumstances, primarily depending on your location, the breed, and the age of your pet. To obtain a sense of what businesses are available, I would start at either the Canine Journal or Pet Insurance University. Because pet insurance policies fluctuate from state to state and estimates are based on local veterinary care expenses, it is challenging to provide a general recommendation because my price and your quote will look very different. Naturally, the pre-existing conditions of the pittie would not be protected, but simply be aware that anything recorded in a veterinarian’s file may be used against your cat.
