How do I quit GEICO before I even begin? I got an offer for an adjuster trainee role from home, but I found a better opportunity and I’ve read so many negative things about their work environment. I’d prefer to decline now, but the only HR email I have says not to reply directly and doesn’t provide another option. How should I handle this?
Your offer letter should list a specific manager and their email. Just reach out to that person to let them know you’re passing on the job.

Thank you. I’ll check the offer letter again for that info.
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much. If you don’t show up, someone from their team will eventually contact you. Still, it’s good that you’re trying to be professional. Congrats on finding something better!
Congrats on your new opportunity!
Whoever is listed as your point of contact in the offer letter or the next person who reaches out to you would be the one to notify.
Just kidding, but imagine if this forum post counted as an official resignation!
Or you could always go through the training, collect a paycheck, and not take it too seriously. Just saying.
