Is life insurance worth it if I’m not planning to have kids?

F (25) I have a $15 term and a $150 lifetime. Making a total monthly payment of $165 and feeling duped

Not in a high tax bracket, no debt, no mortgage, no estate, and a salary that is essentially middle class

It’s a fraud, whole life insurance. If you can, get away from it. If your spouse or children depend on your income, it’s a smart idea to obtain term life insurance. You do not require it if you are single and do not have children.

If you want to have heirs or dependents in the future, it is a fantastic idea to start investing in term life insurance early. When you are 25, the premium you will be offered is incredibly low in comparison to when you are 35.
