file a claim with your insurance, like any other accident.

if you have collision coverage, your insurance should cover it once you pay the deductible. give them as much info as possible, and they’ll try to recover costs from the other driver through subrogation.
unfortunately, you’re now stuck dealing with the ‘someone hit me, and now i have to pay’ situation. file the claim with your insurance—it will be recorded as a not-at-fault claim, but it can still raise your premiums for a couple of years. you’ll also have to pay the deductible.

your insurance company might be able to track down the other driver’s info from their plate and check if they have coverage. that’s what happened with my hit-and-run—i filed against their insurance and it went smoothly. having dash cam footage helped in my case.
