I’ve seen a few complaints about Greenville Casualty Insurance, and it doesn’t seem like they have a great reputation. They’re not even BBB accredited. Has anyone had a different experience, or is this the norm?
Yeah, I’ve dealt with them before. Honestly, it was a headache. Took forever to get my claim sorted, and I had to call multiple times just to get updates.

Yikes, that sounds rough. Were they at least responsive once you got through to someone?
@Fielder
Not really. Long hold times and then they’d pass me around to different people. Got sorted in the end, but wouldn’t recommend.
I had a claim from a wreck in 2017, and it was a nightmare. Took months just to get my car back. Even worse, they still haven’t paid some of the hospital bills.

Wow, that’s unacceptable. Did you end up getting any of it resolved?

Nope, still dealing with it. Creditors keep calling even though they have the insurance info. It’s been a mess.
I read that someone’s full coverage was removed without them even knowing. Anyone else have issues with their policy changing like that?

Yeah, that can happen if you don’t meet certain conditions, like providing required docs. But they should definitely let you know ahead of time.

Right? Seems like they’re not great at keeping people informed.
Anyone know why they’re not BBB accredited? Does that mean anything bad, or am I reading too much into it?

It just means they haven’t gone through the accreditation process. Doesn’t always mean something bad, but it’s worth considering, especially if there are lots of complaints.
I’d avoid them if possible. Read a review from someone who said their claim process was a nightmare. Had to pay for overnight fees themselves even though the insurance took ages.

Yeah, I saw that. That’s pretty wild. I’d be frustrated if that happened to me.
