Got into an Accident Where Neither Driver is at Fault—How Should I File a Claim?

I was driving through southern Georgia and ended up in a construction zone where the worker managing traffic accidentally directed another vehicle into the intersection. As a result, we collided. Both the other driver and I agreed that neither of us was at fault—it was the traffic worker’s mistake—so we didn’t exchange insurance information.

Since this situation is a bit unusual, what would you recommend I do next?

For context, neither of us were injured. The damage to my car is mostly superficial, but the other driver’s truck might have been totaled, though it wasn’t clear before I left the scene. The police did show up and are writing a report, which I should be able to access tomorrow, so there will be an official record of the incident. Any advice on how to proceed with filing a claim would be appreciated.
