CIP Courses – What Should I Watch Out For?

Hallo…

I’m working on my CIP and trying to figure out how to finish it in a reasonable time. I’ve knocked out the P&P course and am currently working on Property. I’ve heard that Property, Liability, and Bodily Injury Claims are pretty tough. I’m also planning to tackle C16 last since it’s known to be challenging. :anguished:
For those of you who’ve been through the CIP, which courses did you find the hardest? Also, do you think it’s okay to double up on some courses to speed things up, or is that a bad idea?

In anticipation,

It’s important to strike a balance between your coursework, employment, and personal life. :saluting_face:Taking two classes a semester can be doable for many students, but this will depend on your schedule and study habits.

Selecting courses should be done in accordance with your interests and job aspirations. If underwriting is your area of interest, for instance, concentrate on taking courses in that area. :stuck_out_tongue:

Most people agree that certain courses are harder than others. For example, some people may find liability :unamused: and property courses difficult, while others may find them easier It’s critical to evaluate your advantages and disadvantages.

Make use  of all the resources at your disposal, including study groups, internet resources, and textbooks. Interacting with peers may offer a variety of viewpoints and aid in the clarification of challenging ideas.

You may be able to receive credits or exemptions for specific courses if you have prior insurance education or related experience To find out if you qualify, check with the Insurance Institute.
