I’ve been looking into car insurance , and found some info on the cheapest companies. GEICO seems to be the cheapest big company with $34 a month, but State Farm has better rates if you want full coverage. Anyone else have experience with these or other cheap insurers? Curious to hear what everyone thinks!
I’ve been with GEICO for a few years, and it’s been pretty solid. Definitely one of the cheaper options for minimum coverage. But if you’re looking for full coverage, State Farm might be the way to go.
@Jin
Same here! GEICO’s good for minimum, but I switched to State Farm for full coverage because I wanted more protection. Rates went up a bit but still manageable.
I’ve heard good things about Auto-Owners too. They’re not available everywhere, but I got a quote from them that was cheaper than the big guys.

Yeah, I saw that Auto-Owners had super low rates like $27/month. Too bad they’re not in my state!
Just switched to State Farm after an accident, and their rates for at-fault drivers are pretty good. The process was smooth, and my rates didn’t go up as much as I expected.

That’s good to know. I’ve been worried about my rates after a speeding ticket, so might look into State Farm. Seems like they handle accidents and tickets well.
Anyone have experience with USAA? I’m in a military family, and they seem to have pretty good rates for us.

USAA is amazing for military folks! I’ve had them for years and their customer service is top-notch, plus their rates are super competitive.
I’ve noticed that bundling home and auto insurance can save a ton, especially with companies like GEICO and State Farm. Anyone done this?

Yep, I bundled with State Farm. It knocked a good chunk off my premiums. Definitely worth looking into if you have other insurance needs!
