I’m trying to find the best pet insurance for my dog here in Arizona. I’ve heard a lot about Lemonade being a top pick, but I’m also curious about Spot and Embrace. Does anyone have experience with these providers? I’m looking for good coverage without it being too expensive. Any advice?
I’ve been using Embrace for my two cats, and they offer a great discount for multiple pets. The coverage is solid, and I haven’t had any problems filing claims.

I’ve got a dog, do they offer similar discounts for dogs too?
@Cael
Yeah, they offer discounts for multiple pets regardless of species, so you’d definitely save if you’ve got more than one.
Spot has been great for me because of how customizable it is. I like being able to adjust the deductible and coverage to fit my budget.

That sounds useful. Did you go with the wellness coverage or just the basics?
@Abi
I opted for the basics, but they do offer wellness add-ons if you want more comprehensive coverage.
I went with Lemonade for my puppy, and it’s been affordable while covering everything I need. Their online claims process is super easy too.

That’s good to hear! I’ve read that their premiums are lower because they only cover the essentials and let you add on extras if you need them.
I’ve got Healthy Paws for my older dog because of their unlimited coverage. It’s not the cheapest, but I don’t have to worry about hitting an annual limit, which is important for an older pet.

I’ve been considering Healthy Paws, but I heard they have some restrictions for senior pets. Have you noticed any issues?
@Jamie
There are some restrictions for certain conditions, especially hip dysplasia, but overall the coverage has been really good for us.
ASPCA Pet Insurance has been solid for my senior cat. They don’t reduce coverage as pets get older, and the premiums are still reasonable.

That’s really helpful to know. I’ve got an older dog, and I’ve been worried about finding a plan that won’t drop coverage as he ages.
