Best cheap health insurance options in florida?

i’m looking for affordable health insurance options in florida for next year. seems like florida blue and ambetter are popular choices. florida blue is around $495/month for silver plans, while ambetter starts at $451/month. has anyone had experience with these or found other options?

i went with ambetter for 2024 and the monthly premium is pretty manageable. not the best network, but it works if you’re healthy and don’t need frequent doctor visits.

good to know! do they cover a lot of basic services?

if you want flexibility to go out-of-network, florida blue has the only PPO option on healthcare.gov in florida. more expensive, but gives more freedom with specialists.

thanks! i think a ppo would work better for my needs.

if you live in east-central florida, florida health care plans is worth looking into. high ratings but only available to a small portion of the state.

sounds like a great option if you’re in their area. appreciate the recommendation!

keep in mind that silver plans might qualify for cost-sharing reductions if your income’s within certain limits. saved me a lot on out-of-pocket expenses.

thanks for the tip! didn’t realize that could apply to silver plans.
