Anyone had luck with CCC One increasing the vehicle value?

Has anyone had any luck with CCC One actually using the comps you’ve submitted to increase the base vehicle value? I’m considering leaving USAA after my second bad experience having my car totaled and getting a low settlement (not at fault either time). The fact that they get their money back for the settlement from the at fault party is what frustrates me that they aren’t more helpful. I’m not asking a crazy price. I think we are about $500-$800 off on value. 2014 Acura RDX Tech package and 68,000 miles. I bought the car in Fl so it only has FWD. it was hard to find comps in my area now, Virginia, as most people opt for AWD up north. I was able to have my adjuster increase the value of my car because of the condition but CCC One has not made any adjustments. The first time I sent them comps they refused to include anything from Carvana even though I’m less than 50 miles from two of their locations. Which I accepted and sent more comps. They accepted 1 and then they added another one of their own that basically cancelled out the increase of the comp I sent. The second comp they “accepted” had the “*” stating the comparable was for informational purposes only. So I did more research and submitted four more and they called and said that the value did not change and when you look at the report those were also noted to be for informational purposes. My biggest issue and that despite the 6+ comps I’ve sent of nearly identical cars, they aren’t actually including them but are including 4 comps they chose of that are 2015 RDXs with a lot more mileage than my car had. They said they are allowed to include cars 1 year newer which I would have maybe been fine with if I didn’t find more comps of the same year. USAA said their hands are tied. They can’t adjust anything but they are the ones that employ CCC One and the only solution they offered was I hire an appraiser which I’d have to pay for out of pocket and would negate the difference I’m hoping to get to or I can start this process over with the other persons insurance with the potential risk that they also employ CCC One as it’s got quite a monopoly. Has anyone had any luck getting CCC One to remove comps of a different year and/or able to get them to adjust the base vehicle value. This whole process is a load of crap since I can’t see their “database” so I just have to trust they are using the best options. Why is USAA wasting my time letting me submit more comps if CCC One isn’t using the comps for value purposes?

Oh boy if you think it’s gonna be better or easier with a different company then I have some bad news for you friend…

Easier to get a better settlement off or easier if I switch insurance companies?

@Leith
The settlement. All the insurance companies do the same thing to settle total loss. They let someone else make that decision for them.

If that’s the case then I’d still rather pay less in premiums for my car, banking and homeowners if I’m going to get shafted either way. Longevity with USAA didn’t even get me a nice, communicative insurance adjuster. The injury side of the team was very nice, but once I was I was cleared medically and switched to non injury things went down hill. The supervisor was even huffing and sighing while I was speaking. I had to do all the coordinating with the tow company and the collision center, USAA wasn’t even helpful with coordinating my rental car. Still the point of my post is to see if anyone has had any success dealing with CCC One. They only provide the break out of the comp specs for the first 3 and then I’ve tried to look up the VINs of the others to see if they maybe missing something but without seeing their break out I have no idea how they conclude their value.

You’d be hard pressed to find an insurance company not using CCC One as their valuation company. Just ensure the options are correct and conditions are right. Comparable vehicles could hurt you just be careful.
