Anyone else get a pre-adverse letter from HireRight?

Has anyone received an automatic pre-adverse letter from HireRight? My background check has taken almost a month. My start date is supposed to be next week, but I haven’t heard anything back from HR.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Background checks take forever. Nothing to do but wait. It might not be a bad sign.
When I was getting hired, I had to give notice at my old job and move into a new apartment before they told me if I passed the background check :joy:

@Joss
Crazy that they have a start date in the offer within a week and it’s crickets.

@Joss
How much notice did they give you for the actual start date?

They told me I was hired with a start date a month ahead. Then they did the background check.

Same here. That month is up on Monday. Did you actually start on that day?

@Jensen
Yep, I started on that day.

When did you get the final offer and schedule?

They should call you by Friday.

I haven’t even gotten the final offer. That’s making me a bit nervous. Crazy to start Monday with no notice to my old employer.

@Williamson
Does the initial offer letter have a phone number? Did they give you a business card during the interview?

No phone number on it. And it was all remote, so no business card.
