Hey everyone, I’m looking for affordable car insurance in New Jersey. I heard Geico offers some of the lowest rates, but are there any other options I should consider?
Geico does have great rates. They charge around $97 per month for full coverage, which is the cheapest I’ve found so far. NJM is also pretty affordable if you want an alternative.

I’m with NJM, and I’ve been happy with them. They’re slightly more than Geico, but their customer service has been solid.

Same here. NJM is a bit pricier, but I feel they’re more responsive, especially for claims.
If you’re a young driver, Geico is probably your best bet. They have lower rates for young drivers compared to most other companies. I pay about $96 per month for minimum coverage.

That’s good to know. I’ve been quoted way higher with other companies, so it sounds like Geico’s a good option for younger drivers.
Just a heads up, if you have a DUI, NJM offers the cheapest rates. They charge about $188 per month, which is a lot lower than most other places.

Good info. DUIs really drive up the rates, so it’s helpful to know where to get a better deal.
If you’ve got a speeding ticket, Geico might be a good choice. They don’t always increase the rate for the first ticket, which helps keep costs low.

True, I’ve heard that too. Some companies hike the rates right away, but Geico can be forgiving on the first violation.
For anyone with poor credit, Geico has the best rates at about $221 per month. Just something to consider if credit is affecting your insurance costs.

It’s frustrating that credit affects rates, but it’s good to know there are options like Geico that don’t charge as much.
