I’m trying to figure out what dental insurance Comfort Dental accepts. They say they accept most plans, but it’s hard to tell from their site if mine is included. Anyone here have experience with them? Thanks in advance.
I had the same question a while back. They take a bunch of insurances like Aetna, Cigna, and Metlife. You should be good if you’re on a PPO plan.

Oh cool, I’m with Delta Dental. I hope that works too. How did you check?
@Kiran
Yeah, they take Delta Dental too. I called them to double-check, but they also have a list on their website. Just make sure you’re on the PPO plan.
@Kiran
What’s a PPO plan? I keep seeing that mentioned, but not sure what it is lol.

PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization. It means you can see any dentist, but you get better rates with ones in their network. Comfort Dental’s got a lot of PPOs listed.
FYI, if your insurance isn’t on their list, they offer financing options. That’s what I ended up doing when I realized mine wasn’t covered.

Good to know! Do they ask for a down payment or is it like a monthly thing?
@Peyton
It’s a monthly thing. They’ve got a few options depending on your budget. No interest if you pay it off quickly too, which is nice.
I don’t see Guardian Insurance on the list. Does that mean I’m out of luck? Has anyone used them with Comfort Dental?

Pretty sure they take Guardian! It’s listed under Jersey Shore Dental, but Comfort Dental clinics usually have a similar list of insurances. Just call to confirm.
Out of network? You can still get some coverage, but it’ll cost more. Comfort Dental should tell you what to expect if that’s the case.

True, I’m out of network and ended up paying more, but it wasn’t too bad with financing. Definitely worth checking with them beforehand though.
They’re really helpful if you just call them. I wasn’t sure if my plan was covered, but they looked it up for me on the spot. Give them a ring!
