I’m curious about other members’ experiences with Figo pet insurance, especially with the 15% premium discount and $15 application fee. How has the experience been with vet clinics? Are claims reimbursed quickly, and how’s the general satisfaction?

I had Figo a few years ago but switched when they changed their coverage policies. I’d recommend reading the fine print carefully, especially for exclusions.

My experience is similar; Figo used to be better value but has become more expensive and covers less, so I’m also thinking of switching.
@Chase
Be cautious about switching—new policies often exclude anything they consider pre-existing, so future coverage may be limited.

Got it, thank you for the advice!
I’ve had Figo for almost 5 years and was a supporter until my recent renewal. My healthy 5-year-old dog’s premium rose significantly, and now costs almost $95 per month. The company’s reasoning is vague, citing ‘changes to their policies,’ age, and breed as factors. Adjusting coverage options to reduce the premium means permanently lowering the annual benefit, with no option to increase later without losing pre-existing condition coverage. The company used to be great, but recent hikes and ‘perks’ that cost extra have made me reconsider.
