We’ve got a few cars newly insured with Progressive and are using Snapshot. We’re all trying to drive carefully to avoid hard stops, but we’ll have to make a few extra trips this week, which will increase our usual mileage. Does it make sense to put the extra miles on a car with a lower monthly rate, or does Progressive sum up the mileage across all cars to determine the Snapshot rating?
You could take Snapshot out for the trip and then put it back in.

Doesn’t that mess up the score or ‘invalidate’ it if you remove Snapshot?
