Hi people…
I wanna buys a dental insurance and came across Physicians Mutual Dental Insurance. I’ve read a bit about their plans, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has first-hand experience with them.
Could you please share your thoughts or reviews on their coverage, customer service, and overall experience? Any insights would be greatly appreciated…
They’re known for offering plans that cover over 350 procedures, which is quite comprehensive, ranging from routine exams to more complex treatments.
Plus, there’s no cap on the cash benefits you can receive, which is a big plus.
When it comes to customer service, they seem to have a system that offers discounts for in-network dentists and direct reimbursement options for out-of-network services.
This flexibility can be quite beneficial depending on your preferences.
As for the overall experience, the general consensus is that they provide affordable plans with strong preventive care coverage.
However, it’s worth noting that there may be some limitations when it comes to major services, and you might encounter waiting periods or a smaller network than some other providers.
Overall, Physicians Mutual is often praised for its affordability and coverage options, but as with any insurance plan, it’s crucial to consider both the pros and cons.
It’s always recommended to read up on various customer reviews and consult with a financial advisor to ensure you’re making the best choice for your needs.
Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to reach out!
I’ve been using them for about 3 years now. I was looking for something to supplement my insurance from work. It’s way better than any insurance I’ve had. Once I passed 12 months, virtually everything is covered. I’ve had 2 extractions, a temporary bridge, bridge, scaling and polishing without zero out of pocket.
Unless you have some absurd issues, dental insurance is a scam, in my opinion. They typically have a maximum payout of approximately $1500, and you typically pay more for a policy than that. Additionally, I observe that many dentists avoid dealing with dental insurance because they perceive it to be a hassle. Yes, they may fill out some paperwork for your insurance, but you will have to deal with the reimbursement process on your own. Dental insurance paid for by your employer is one thing, but having to pay for it out of pocket is quite another. It doesn’t seem worth it to me.
