Although I have heard positive things about some, my daughter had a negative experience with GEICO’s pet insurance and is now of the opinion that all pet insurance is useless. Will someone please share their positive experiences with me so I can provide her advice? Regards

As long as Pets Best pays as per their policy, I have had good luck. It is property insurance, not pet health insurance. Please remember this distinction. They will only pay in accordance with the terms of your insurance. They will look into any prior medical issues. I have already received dividends totaling about $20k for this policy year.

Indeed, regrettably, a cancer diagnosis in March and the ensuing therapies. It is wonderful that they have not denied anything.

I enjoy Healthy Paws and MetLife together. Each pays in line with their own policies. My dog, For Healthy Paws, takes a lot of medications and sees the veterinarian frequently. Without asking, I receive payment for everything they cover.

Earlier this month, my first claim was paid by my Trupanion coverage. It was used to treat allergies.
