I recently bought Lemonade pet insurance for our new puppy, which is a basic policy for catastrophic issues only. While reviewing the coverage, I noticed that my name is listed as “Dd Mm” instead of my actual name (which is nothing like that). The dog’s name and information are correct, but I have no idea how this error happened.
I’m concerned that this mistake could potentially be a reason for the insurance company to deny claims in the future. I plan to call them tomorrow to see if it matters and to get it corrected (or possibly cancel the policy), but I’d appreciate some outside opinions first. Does this name error on the policy have serious implications, or is it something that can be easily fixed without affecting coverage?
