For the second year in a row, Allstate has raised my premium by 15-20%, even though I have not had any car accidents or major tickets.
Now, I’m looking for new insurance and got a good offer from Travelers (not the cheapest option). I know it’s a reputable company, but I don’t know anyone who’s used them.
I would appreciate hearing your opinions or experiences, especially about how they handle stolen cars, totaled cars, and windshield repairs or replacements.
Travelers typically offers coverage for stolen vehicles as part of their auto insurance policies. If your car is stolen, you would need to file a police report and then contact Travelers to initiate a claim.
Have you used Travelers before? I want to change from Allstate in the Fall when I move back to my home state. I’m currently in Alburquerque for the summer
If you’ve noticed more lawsuits, higher costs for car parts, and a 37% rise in labor at body shops over the last couple of years, you’re not alone. Insurance rates are climbing across the board, especially in areas hit hard by disasters like hail. If you’re getting your Travelers policy through an Independent Agency instead of directly from Travelers, your customer service should be decent enough.
