Mercury insurance one time payment

I’ve been thinking about switching my car insurance to Mercury, and I noticed they offer a “one time payment” option. My current policy renewal is coming up, and I’m looking to simplify things. Does anyone know if paying for Mercury insurance in one lump sum saves money or provides any benefits? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth making the switch and paying upfront. Thanks in advance!

Are we simply seeing consolidation, with only a few insurance providers left holding pricing power? Would this benefit any of our current politicians? I’m just trying to follow the money. I’ve been around for 33 years and lived through all three hurricanes in 2004. Honestly, this issue has only become significant in the past five years or so. I know there have been lawsuits. Going back to the original question, which Florida legislators are currently benefiting from this, and how?
