I keep hearing renters insurance is super cheap, like $15 a month, but does it actually cover anything useful? Trying to figure out if it’s worth it for my tiny apartment. Anyone have thoughts?
Totally worth it, IMO! Had a pipe burst last year and my stuff got wrecked… thankfully, insurance covered a chunk of it.

Same thing happened to me! I’d say it’s a good idea, especially for that price.

Wow, sounds like a lifesaver. Didn’t think it’d cover stuff like that.
I read it’s good if you have valuable stuff. If you don’t, maybe you could go without…?

Yeah, depends on your stuff. I mostly have IKEA furniture, so I don’t worry as much .

Lol, but I’d still get it for peace of mind. Never know when something random will happen.
It’s just nice to know it covers things like hotel stays if your place becomes unlivable. Only $15? That’s less than my coffee runs.

True. Cheaper than a monthly streaming subscription .
Heads up though, costs vary by state! I’m in Texas, and it’s pricier here. Guess it’s cuz of storms?

Yep, anything coastal or prone to natural disasters tends to be more expensive.
If you have a good credit score, it could be even cheaper. Apparently, they factor that into your rate?

I didn’t know that. My credit’s kinda meh, so maybe that’s why my quote was higher.
