Is Jerry a reliable app for insurance needs?

Is Jerry a trustworthy app for insurance needs? I’m currently paying $160 for full coverage car insurance, and every other provider expects me to pay over $200, which seems excessive given that I’m 36, with no accidents and a safe driving record. However, Jerry found Progressive for me at $133 a month, which is incredibly affordable for me. I’m wondering if it’s a good move. I’m frustrated with how Allstate keeps raising my monthly premiums every six months.

Get a direct quote from Progressive, that’s the actual price you’ll pay, instead of using a data-gathering app that only partially completes a quote and then earns a commission when you end up going directly to the insurer anyway, haha.

On Progressive’s website, it’s around $288 a month or something like that. Is insurance really supposed to be this high for someone who has never been in an accident?

They likely didn’t run any reports, so that will probably change.

What do you mean by reports? Are you referring to credit reports?

Possibly, depending on the insurance company or state regulations. They might also check your accident and claim history reports.

Yes, Jerry is a legitimate organization that can sell you actual insurance. However, Jerry is not an insurance company, therefore they do not insure your vehicle or home directly. Instead, they connect you with insurance firms and let you compare estimates using a phone app.
