Is it hard to get a life insurance quote?

I’ve been putting off getting a life insurance quote because it sounds like a hassle, but I know I should get around to it. Has anyone gone through the process? How complicated is it really?

It’s actually not that bad! I got mine done online in less than 10 minutes. They just ask for basic info like your age, whether you smoke, and how much cover you need. Way easier than I expected.

Same here! Once you know what kind of cover you want and how much you need, it’s pretty straightforward. I thought it’d be more complicated, but it wasn’t at all.

I went through the whole process online. After you get a quote, the full application takes about 20 minutes. They ask for your medical history, family history, and things like your height and weight, but nothing too difficult.

@Tavi
Yeah, the medical history part took the longest for me. I had to look up a few dates, but overall it wasn’t too stressful. As long as you have your info ready, it’s a breeze.

I was surprised at how flexible it is. You can go back and edit your quote or even return later if you’re not ready to commit. They also let you add Critical Illness Cover if you want extra protection.

@Quincy
I added Critical Illness Cover to mine, and it was simple to do. I like that you can customize it based on what you need.

One thing to note is that if you’ve got any health conditions, they might ask for more info or even request your medical records. But they do it with your consent, and you can see the report before it’s sent to the insurer.

If you don’t want to do it all online, you can always call them. I did mine over the phone, and they were super helpful and walked me through everything step by step.
