Direct Auto isn’t great, but that’s not the main issue here, haha. If you don’t have an auto policy with them, there’s no need to worry. However, just in case, make sure your current auto insurance provider isn’t a subsidiary of Direct Auto and that your policy is in good standing. It’s also a good idea to check your credit report, especially if you were personally named. Additionally, consider consulting a subreddit dedicated to fraud for more advice.
