On Friday, as we were leaving a gas station parking lot, we were rear-ended. After exchanging insurance details and filing a police report, we visited the hospital to have my wife and son examined. We made the trip there and back in the automobile. On Friday afternoon, I called and made a claim under the transportation company’s insurance. All weekend long, the automobile sat in the driveway with no updates. Now, I’m not sure what has to be done.
Damage - call police and get off road, don’t say anything to other driver other than seeing if they’re okay and exchanging information.
No damage - up to you, you aren’t required to call where I live, had a dummy in a squatted truck tap my rear but I was in second and managed to pull away as I saw him coming so there was no damage. I told him to get a real lift or throw stock suspension back on but that we were fine.
