Don’t come in with a negative attitude. Do your training, handle your claims, stay organized, and you’ll be fine. Yes, it’s hard work, and yes, some days are super stressful, but it can also be rewarding.
They don’t accommodate for commuting. If you’re even a second late, it’s a problem, and being late multiple times can get you fired.

I’m reconsidering this job now. Everyone says it’s terrible, and I’m worried about getting stuck in a bad situation.

It really is bad. I left after over a decade without giving notice, which I normally would never do.

I’m a new hire starting 11/25, doing field claims. How do they track if I’m late or not? I figured I’d be working on my own schedule since I’ll be out traveling all day.
