My cousin, 22 years old, college student signed up for life insurance ($500,000) through a family member at $230 a month. How do I tell him that is too high and to go against his stepdad(who signed him up for it) and his mom(my aunt)?

He should be concerned about whether or not they intend to kill him. A 22-year-old without dependents does not require any life insurance. He should just call the firm or agency and cancel it, especially if it’s whole life insurance—get himself out before he loses too much money on this “investment.”
