How can I get rhinoplasty covered by insurance?
My friend had insurance covering half of my septorhinoplasty 'cause she had a nasal valve collapse and deviated septum. Her surgeon’s office was great; they handled the insurance and got her a quote. Some insurances need preapproval or scans, but hers didn’t. If your surgeon finds a functional issue and helps with the insurance calls, it’s super helpful.
Just so you note,You’ll only find out for sure after you get diagnosed. Insurance won’t cover it without a diagnosis, self-diagnosing doesn’t count, unfortunately
