Does insurance cover veneers?

Are there any dental insurances that cover or partially cover implants/veneers?

I have a couple of messed up front teeth that I’d love to at some point have implants put in. It’s nothing super important but I’d like to at some point.

I’m in New York, USA

Thanks!!!

Oh, implants can be pretty pricey, and not many insurance plans cover them because they’re still kinda new in the dental world. Like, my oral surgeon, who’s like a top expert on implants, says he’s never seen insurance cover them. And veneers? Yeah, they’re mostly considered cosmetic, so insurance usually doesn’t chip in for those either. But hey, if you need crowns, dental insurance can help cover those costs.

If you’re thinking about implants though, using an HSA could be a good idea. You know, paying with pretax dollars and all that. Sure, implants might seem expensive upfront, but they’re often better for your dental health in the long run compared to other options like dentures or bridges.
