Does Costco accept VSP insurance?

Hey guys, :eyeglasses: I am wondering if Costco accepts VSP insurance for glasses. I’ve heard they offer great deals, but I’m unsure about coverage. Has anyone used VSP at Costco before?

At Costco, our optician accepts most insurance plans, but some are still not covered. Although we work with the most common plans, every few weeks we encounter one that isn’t in our network. The best approach is to call VSP and check if they’re in network with Costco.

Yes, Costco does accept VSP insurance for glasses. Many people have reported positive experiences using their VSP benefits at Costco Optical.

Here’s why Costco is a popular choice for glasses:

  • Competitive Prices: Costco is known for its low prices, often offering significant savings compared to other retailers.
  • Wide Selection: They offer a variety of frames to suit different styles and preferences.
  • Convenience: You can typically get your eye exam, choose frames, and pick up your glasses all in one location.

However, it’s always a good idea to check with your specific VSP plan to verify coverage details and any potential limitations. You can contact your VSP provider or visit their website for more information.

I have been ordering from them for 10 years and they’re completely real (they were around $12 for each pair back then lol). Every pair was exactly what I ordered. Prescription ordinary glasses (single vision, no bifocals or anything) currently cost about $20, and Rx sunglasses with mirror glass and polarized lenses cost around $80.
