Did the CEO just boast about profits while cutting jobs?

Is it morally right to celebrate record profits when your company has laid off 20,000 employees in two years?
What about celebrating profits that don’t benefit the workers who contributed to those profits?
How can you celebrate record profits while not raising pay?
How can you celebrate record profits while eliminating scholarship programs?
How can you celebrate record profits while taking away health benefits and not giving fair raises to longtime employees?
This feels like pure greed.

Did anyone notice the tone when he said, ‘We have never said no!’? It sounded condescending, like he was talking down to a child. This shows a complete lack of empathy and humanity.

I feel disgusted.

It’s easy to report record profits now since they stopped sharing any profits with the employees.

That’s not the case. ‘Profits’ usually refer to underwriting profits, not overall profits. We’re finally making money because we’ve raised prices.

He’s a complete jerk!

TC is just a destroyer, what do you expect? Nicely may not have been perfect, but at least he helped build the company. TC is just here to profit from the destruction.

It’s sad that they try to brainwash management with their nonsense and that so many buy into it. After October 24, it’s clear they didn’t keep the best talent, just the ruthless ones. Todd is their idol, showing a lack of empathy while expecting it from underqualified employees.

So many Geico employees think they’re paid fairly and that hard work is the norm.

It’s such a misguided mindset. If you pay the minimum, expect minimum effort. You all need to stand up for yourselves. This is absurd.

Absolutely.

That’s my only thought!!

Where did this town hall take place? Can you share a link?

It was on Webex, but only supervisors and management were invited.

Similar to the Montfort and Healy parties that everyone was invited to, but management only let upper management attend.

Not surprised. Why won’t people just leave for better opportunities?

I placed a bet last week, and I won! Going to collect my bonus today - I really need it.
