Anyone Recently Applied for Anthem Plan G?

I’m starting a new post here.

I applied for a Plan G with Anthem and received an email saying, ‘approved,’ but that’s it. Nothing else—no documents, no welcome kit, nothing.

The next day, I got a PDP from AARP, and everything was immediately available online, with documents populated. When I call Anthem, all I get is overseas customer service with the same canned response: ‘You’ll get the paperwork by January 1st, 2025.’

I’d like to know sooner than December 7th, so I can decide whether to go with another supplement provider or return to my trusty MAPD.

I’m a Boomer, and I want to see and hold things in my hand!

So, has anyone who applied for an Anthem Plan G in the last five months received a welcome kit yet? How long did it take?

It’s AEP (Annual Enrollment Period). It takes longer to send out materials during this time, but your approval email is confirmation.

Takes longer? AEP? My AARP UHC PDP was approved, and the account was populated within 8 hours!
