Hey, has anyone found good ways to help insurance agents work more efficiently? I’ve been looking into different tools and strategies, but it’s hard to know what actually works. Anyone have ideas?
Yeah, goal setting helps a lot. We started using the SMART framework for goals—specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. It’s been a game changer.

SMART goals? What does that mean?
@Diya
It’s a way to set goals that are clear and trackable. For example, instead of just saying ‘sell more policies,’ you could say ‘increase policy sales by 15% by the end of Q2.’
Using the right tech has helped our team. We switched to an all-in-one agency management system like AMS360. It handles everything from managing policies to tracking leads.

Does it really make that much of a difference? We’re still using a bunch of separate tools, and it feels pretty messy.
@Max
Totally worth it. It saves time because everything’s in one place. Plus, it automates a lot of the admin stuff like paperwork and client renewals.
We started using Teramind to track productivity. It shows us where agents are spending their time, and we can see which tasks are taking too long. Helps us figure out what’s slowing things down.

Oh wow, does it track everything they do? Sounds kinda intense.
@Vale
Lol, not in a creepy way! It’s more about seeing general trends, like which tasks take up the most time. Helps us spot inefficiencies and give extra training where it’s needed.
Has anyone tried hybrid work models? We’ve found that letting agents work from home part-time boosts productivity. A lot of them prefer the flexibility.

Yeah, we did something similar. Giving agents more control over their schedules definitely improved their focus and performance.
Don’t forget about continuous learning. We set up regular training sessions, and it’s helped our agents stay sharp. They also love attending industry conferences for networking and learning new skills.
@sofilin
Do you do all the training in-house, or do you send them out for courses?

A bit of both. We do lunch-and-learns where agents share best practices with each other, but we also encourage them to get certifications or attend conferences. We even cover some of the costs.
